Who are the Street Angels?
The HSAT project was officially launched in May 2012.
Hull Street Angels Trinity (HSAT) is a registered charity that promotes responsible drinking and makes sure that those out enjoying the City’s nightlife feel safe and able to enjoy their evening.
We operate in the old Town and new town city centre of Hull on a Friday & Saturday evening between 9pm and 2am, keeping those who find themselves vulnerable safe.
Working from a base in the city centre, HSAT volunteers work in pairs and each wear a distinctive reflective jacket and an I.D badge so that they can be easily recognised as a safe person to approach for assistance.
By working in partnership with door staff, CIVIC, Ambulance Services and the Police, The Street Angels Trinity provide a friendly face and help to those who need it.
Our charity is not a faith based organisation and volunteers are warmly welcomed to join whether they have a particular faith or not.
Our aims and objectives are to undertake preventative measures to avoid people becoming vulnerable and needing to use the hospital’s accident and emergency department or intervention by the Police. We aim to support people having a good time and enable them to get home safely without distinction of race, sex, and political, religious or other opinion of the members of such community.
